The Jarrells’ Home Project

Jarrells’ Home is an orphanage in Port Harcourt, registered as the Global Foundation for Orphaned Children, which was in need of a permanent home.

On November 18, 2012, Royal Girls’ Academy launched a campaign tagged “The Jarrells’ Need a Home” to raise funds to build a home for Jarrells’ Home.

Through donations from the management, staff, students, parents, and friends of the school, Royal Girls’ Academy raised over ₦10,000,000.00 (approximately $50,000).

With the funds raised, as well as donations in kind and professional expertise, land was purchased, the house was built, completed, and officially handed over to Jarrells’ Home in 2017.
